Travel across winter Lake Baikal by hovercraft towards Olkhon Island. Along the way, discover the spectacular Sukhaya Bay, Peschannaya Bay and Sagan-Zaba cliffs. After arriving in Khuzhir, explore the village and visit the famous Shaman Rock, one of the sacred places of the Baikal region.

Explore the northern part of Olkhon Island on a 4WD ice adventure to Cape Khoboy. Travel across the frozen surface of Lake Baikal, discover dramatic cliffs and learn about the traditions and legends of the Buryat people. See how thick the Baikal ice is, taste fresh lake water and enjoy a traditional outdoor lunch prepared by your driver.

Continue your journey across the Baikal ice and explore the southern part of Olkhon Island. Visit Ogoy Island and its Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment before travelling to Cape Khorgoy, famous for its spectacular winter ice caves. Your guide will share local legends and stories about Lake Baikal.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Irkutsk. Along the way, stop at Eagle monument, Olkhon Border monument and enjoy lunch in a traditional Buryat yurt. Experience local songs, dancing and throat singing before arriving in Irkutsk and transferring to the airport.
